Hotel Iena, (Angers, Pays de Loire) was very accomodating to us as English travellers - suffering our minimal French language and making our stay as easy as possible. We found Angers itself excellent for those who enjoy walking around medieval-type old cities - cobbled streets, occasional church, castle...

My wife and I have just returned from Angers where we have spent 4 very enjoyable days. We stayed in a very nice small family run hotel where the staff were extremely helpful and was very central to the city centre.
